Abstract

This is an interdisciplinary study of bioethics and biolaw, aiming to analyze the ethical implications for the legal formalization of biotechnology in Mexico, especially with regard to assisted reproduction, a technology that facilitates the exercise of reproductive rights. This analysis focuses on how biotechnological practices, such as in vitro fertilization, should be legally regulated, respecting human rights and their fundamental principle, specifically the right to life and human dignity. Reference is made to Spain's regulatory model, which has balanced scientific advances with the protection of human rights, suggesting its applicability in Mexico. The paper highlights the need for regulations that not only promote scientific advancement but also protect human rights, maintaining an ethical approach in legal decisions.
